Weekends
I've discovered that if I get a chance to bake something on the weekend, I feel like it's been a good, restful break. Strange, no? So, here's a "caramelized pear cake" that I made yesterday. Actually, I'm not so crazy about the taste of the cake (it's a little too sweet for me), but I thought it looked great.

Yum! I can understand your comment about baking and feeling you've had a real weekend. That tree is amazing too. I love the combination of dark clouds and bright trees.
