International Women's Day

My students surprised me today with gifts to celebrate International Women's Day. This holiday has always seemed like a sham to me--women get the day off from work so they can cook and clean and host a party. I have to say, though, that I certainly enjoyed the celebration today (no cooking or cleaning involved!).
